*Connor has a mission, he is to find Lieutenant Anderson. He’s been to four bars already and is heading to the fifth when the world around them lurches. He’ll lose sight of everthing around him and when he can see again the city streets are gone and the darkness of the forest is all that is around him.*

Connor: No, sir. I will do as instructed to the best of my ability. I won't fail you, general. *glances at Terris when the amin takes his jacket, and pulls the hood up again to obscure his LED once the cloak is back around his shoulders. He looks uncertain and a bit lost, even faintly nervous, but his LED is blue - be's an obedient machine. He'll operate flawlessly as he was designed*

Zerik: You’ll do well, Connor. I’ve no doubt CyberLife will understand considering the situation. Go on now, you’ve things yet to do today.
Terris: *with a gentle touch to Connor’s back he’ll lead the android out. Next stop, the exact middle of town. The building there is very castle like, a mix of wood, stone, stained glass, and large gardens. The gates are open and the soldiers easily welcome Terris with familiarity. They’ll be led to a small private room to be able to meet with someone named Sanrin.* Sanrin has a friend who may... or may not... be able and willing to try to get you home.

Connor: *nods* Yes, General. *will easily follow Terris. Stepping into the room behind Terris, he'll shift to one side, setting himself out of the way, hands lightly clasped in fron of him as he looks around the small room, not quite disinterested, but not obviously engaged either*

Terris: Come sit, Connor. *is also sitting when a young man in loose robes steps in.*
Sanrin: Hell-oh! *startle he gives Connor a double take and them can’t help but stare.*

Connor: *steps over and sits smoothly, looking around. When the robed man comes in and /reacts/, he just blinks and regards him in return*

Sanrin: Oh goodness, that’s not normal. Terris, what have you brought me?! *gaping*
Terris: *snerksnort* Sanrin. *I can’t believe you said that!*
Sanrin: *face goes /crimson/* Oh, Life Light. I’m sorry. That was incredibly rude of me.
Terris: Sanrin, this is Connor. He is called an android.
Sanrin: Connor. It’s a pleasure. *offers a hand*

Connor: *no real reaction to the exchange, just looking back and forth between them, though he raises a brow a bit at Terris telling Sanrin what he is when so much was made of /not/ telling anyone. When he's finally directly addressed, he stands to accept the offered hand.* Mr. Sanrin, the pleasure is mine.

*Zerik did say to follow Terris’s lead on that, taht if he told someone, that person was authorized to know.*
Sanrin: *w-whoa. He smiles and looks between them.* I’m sorry, but what... is an android?
Terris: *Terris will give Connor a moment to answer that, then he’ll explain last night, what he learned of and from Connor, and that General Ius has put Connor under Terris’s care for now to learn more about the world.* I was hoping your friend, Sirrah, might be willing and able to help him...

Connor: *explains as best he can, adjusting for what he's learned from Terris and observed of the world to help make himself understood as much as possible, and will even offer to show himself to Sanrin without his activated skin. After that, he simply quietly observes as they talk*

Sanrin: *simply fascinated* I will certainly call her, but I can never guarantee if she will help.
Terris: *nods* I know.
*Connor will spot it first, two glowing red eyes hovering in a little alcove beside a vase.*

Connor: *brows go up at spotting them and he glances at Sanrin and Terris - what are those lights? Do Sanrin or Terris know? Should he speak up? He won't just yet, as the lights are unintrusive and don't seem to pose a threat...*

*A form seema to be taking shape around those lights, a feline-esque form with a face far more expressive than any cat’s could ever be. The gjostly cat thing seems to smile at Connor, and Terris and Sanrin haven’t noticed it yet.*

Connor: *mild frown of confusion, LED softly swirling yellow as he gazes back* ...Terris, Mr. Sanrin.

Terris: *looks at Connor and sita up upon seeing the yellow LED.* What is it?
Sanrin: ?? Somethinf wrong?

Connor: *glances at them, not taking his eyes from the creature for more than an instant* You don't see it? It's...a...manifestation, like a hologram. Its eyes are red and glowing and it looks like...for lack of a more reasonable description, like...a cat ghost.

Sanrin: Oh! Sirrah? *looks where Connor is looking and grins.* Sneaky.
Sirrah: You called, I came, but then you were talking, and it would have been rude to interrupt.
Terris: *relaxes.*

Connor: *LED spins a bit faster for an instant - it speaks! - before settling back to solid blue, since this is obviously a known entity. He'll quiet and go back to observing*

Sirrah: *hops to the table and affectionately rubs against Sanrin’s arm that’s leaned on the table.* What can I do for you, my friend?
Sanrin: Actually, I was hoping you would be able to help Connor here. He’s apparently an android from another world.
Sirrah: *eyes Connor and steps to him.* Hello, Connor. Hm. Tell me about yourself.
Terris: Be fully honest with her, Connor. If she agrees to help she may be able to take you back to your world.

Connor: *nods at Terris, then turns fully to Sirrah* I am a Connor series prototype android, serial 313 248 317. I was designed as a detective assistance, but my current handler has redesignated me as a soldier. *and he'll go into the rest of his description*

Terris: *brow goes up, and he can’t help but look a bit amused.*
Sirrah: *soft purr.* And your current handler is...?

Connor: General Zerik Ius.

Sirrah: General Ius is a good man. Tell me Connor, if you are never able to get home, what will you do?

Connor: I...I don't know. Continue with General Ius, perhaps. If he'll have me. Or whoever he decides to give or sell me to.

Sirrah: And if he won’t have you, but doesn’t sell you?

Connor: *lost and troubled look on his face, then peeks at Terris* ...Terris? *"would you keep me"?*
