*Connor has a mission, he is to find Lieutenant Anderson. He’s been to four bars already and is heading to the fifth when the world around them lurches. He’ll lose sight of everthing around him and when he can see again the city streets are gone and the darkness of the forest is all that is around him.*

Sanrin: *will go to fetch people who can make some clothes and shoes for this giant of a...man? Android...*
Sirrah: *she slips off the table and into Connor’s lap, purring and rubbing against his belly before settling in a curl. Her form fades a bit, but still has substabce if Connor venture to touch her.*

Connor: *blinks and looks down at her, then will gingerly put a hand on her, not really sure what to make of her - looks up at Terris, finally able to fall back into familiar protocols and programming* So...it seems we're partners now?

Terris: *smiles* Yes. We’re partners now. *can tell this is something easy for Connor to accept, to relate to.*

Connor: *that draws probably the first real, genuine smile from him that Terris has seen* For the next month, at least. We should get to know each other better so we can work together more efficiently.

Terris: *smiles* We should. I asked many questions of you last night. Do you have any for me?

Connor: *he pauses a moment - there are so many, which ones does he choose? Some of the most immediate: Sanrin, Amin, J'har...Drawings.* In the city at large and in this fortification, I've seen a number of animal people. You told me last night that you are a "wolf-type." Is that what you meant? There are rabbit-types and bear-types and various bird-types, but they are all types of amin?

Terris: *nods* That’s right. Amin come in many types as you’ve seen.

Connor: *nods, filing that information away, moving to the next choice* I've noticed a number of people that are not amin and do not seem to be human, as they have much longer ear structures, more slanted eyes, and hair in a range of shades of blue. Are those the j'har that you mentioned last night?

Terris: *nods* J’har will always have longer ears and blue hair. ...they are also never considered free, always slaves.

Connor: *small frown, bothered by that though he doesn’t recognize it as such* Why?

Terris: ...Honestly? No one knows why anymore. It’s been like this for so long no one has known any differently and no one remembers a reason, if there was one originally.

Connor: If no one knows the reason anymore, and they've not committed a crime, why have they not been freed?
