*It will prove to be an uneventful and otherwise frustrating day. No clues will be found... and Terris won't be found either...*

Darnell: *fretting* It's been too long. He'd have checked in by now, I'm sure of it. We should check out Venture's place.

Hellboy: *nods, to Ralar* Not you, Tekel. The lord of this township shouldn't be caught snooping around a rich merchant's place.

Darnell: Not that /we/ intend to be caught.

Hellboy: *wry smirk* Not that we /intend/ to be caught.

Ralar: *reluctant nod, but knows it's true* Let me know what you find, please.

Darnell: *nods* We will, promise. Thank you for your help, Lord Tekel.

Ralar: *nods* And thank you for yours.

*The two nod and will part ways with the lord, heading for Venture's.*

Ari: *moving with them, right by Darnell's side* I hope Terris is okay...

Darnell: I hope so too, but I'm afraid that's less and less likely the longer he's unaccounted for.

Ari: Should I try to get inside of Venture's place to see if I can find Terris? Or anything else...?

Hellboy: Hmn...yeah. Some reconnaissance would be a good idea.

Darnell: Be careful, Ari. We don't know what we're really dealing with here.

Ari: *nods* I'll be careful. Where will you guys be waiting?

Imp: I’m to take you nowhere if you’ll not join us. *nervous whine.* I fear him more than I do you. You can kill me, he can do so much more.

Hellboy: *holds him closer, almost nose-to-nose* You have no idea what I can or can't do to you. *it's…technically a bluff, but he's too focused and angry to even be thinking that consciously…subconsciously, he's BEARING DOWN on the imp again* Take. Me. There….NOW.

Imp: *chokes and /squirms/ as bones start to break.* Ah! Okay! Oka—*cuts off with a choke, spasms in Hellboy’s grip and then his brains leaks from his ears and nose a moment before the body melts away in stinking smoke. Killed by his master? Because Hellboy’s squeezing shouldn’t have done that...*

Hellboy: *definitely not his doing, no! Growling, he shakes his hand to clear it of anything left over* Dammit! *looks around* Show yourself! Come out here, you coward!

*Darnell will wake in darkness so thick he’ll not even be sure he acually opened his eyes. The ground his hard stone, cold and already working to leech the heat from his body. He’ll hear the dripping of water and smell the dampness in the air. He’s got to be in some kind of cave...*
