Daithi: Rihn! *swoops in when the group is about halfway home.*

Rihn: */grins/ and puts out his good arm*

Tam: *lopsided grin, nudges Terris* Told you.

Terris: *chuckles* Yes, you did. 

Rao: Whoooaaa! There really is a talking bird!!

Elias: o,o *so...if that's true... the the metal man and ghost cat... brain broke*

Daithi: *very carefully lands against Rihn's chest, snuggling close* I've missed you so.

Rihn: *soft whistle, tucking the hawk to his chest as best he can - he’s missed Daithi too! . . . looks up at Rao with a /huge/ grin*

Rao: *skips closer to Rihn.* Oh wow. So pretty!

Daithi: *peeks at the boy.* Why thank you, Friend. You have lovely eyes if I may say so. 

Rao: *GRINS*

Tam: *grinning* This is Daithi. Daithi, this is Rao, and this is Elias. Elias is the one who found and saved Rihn, and has been helping us nurse him back to health. *glances at Elias, grin hitching a bit wider* He and Rao are coming home with us to join the family.

Daithi: I cannot express how grateful I am to you, Friend Elias.  Rihn is special to all of us. *and especially to him in certain ways*

Elias: ...*nod* He’s a good young man... *Ffffffff, how the hells...*

Daithi: He certainly is.

*they’ll continue on, Elias silent the rest of the way... Rao chattering nearly endlessly at Daithi.  They’ll finally be approaching home, and Daithi will pull away from Rihn so he can swoop in and let everyone know.  The family will all come out to welcome Rihn... and the new additions.*

*Everyone's excited that Rihn's finally home! And Terris and Tam! Patch will go out to meet everyone, though OP hangs back when he hears there are newcomers . . . best to let them meet and get to know everyone else, especially since there are so many, before having to cope with him.*

*OP doesn't know that they've been told about him, though he realizes there's been time for it. He doesn't want to assume. Still, there'll be opportunity soon enough. Once everyone's been introduced all around - with assurances that no, they /don't/ expect these two to remember everyone's names and they're encouraged to ask, it's okay! - people will start offering to help carry things into the den to start getting them settled. OP was in the den with everyone else, so he'll just...stay put.*

Rao: *unfamiliar with handshakes, so he just rests his hand in OP's and nods.* That's right. You're Optimus Prime? *of course he is, even if Tam hadn't said he knew already.* Are you really made of metal?

OP: *closes his hand gently around Rao's* I really am. I'm from a place called Cybertron. All of my people are like me, made of metal. *even just the metallic ring in his voice proves he's something different*

Rao: *gazing at OP in open awe and wonder. He reaches up to softly touch the Autonot's face, small fingers trailing down his cheek, over his mouth, pausing near a glowing optic. Wow* You're neat! *grin!*
Elias: *whelp, may as well do this. He steps over to OP and offers his hand.* Elias Klements.

*OP tends to scout the furthest from the den than anyone. Several reasons. He's stronger, he's faster, and while he now knows he /can/ be hurt, he knows it's still hard for organics /to/ hurt him. Today, though, it's not a threat that stops him in his tracks. It's thick mud that had been hidden under fallen spring flowers. In a step OP's heavy frame sinks in to his aft... and no matter how hard he tries to free himself...he's not moving. Well... this is bad...*

OP: *isn’t too concerned at first – when he can’t just pull himself free of the mud, he throws a grappling line around the nearest tree . . . unfortunately, the trunk SNAPS in half, bringing the whole top down on top of him without him budging a nanometer…huh…he tries another, larger tree, and wraps his other line around one of its neighbors, pulling with both powerful arms. The trees hold…but so does the mud. He might as well have been welded into place! Great. Well . . . maybe he can /dig/ his way out? He sets about trying to do just that.*

*the mud is thick and goopy. The digging is...slow and fristrating. Scooping away a handful results in more mud oozing into the hole. It's slow, but he /can/ tell he's making /some/ progress. And then he'll get the feeling he's being watched. And a look around will have him spotting an amin. She's staring at him, uncertain, but curious.*

OP: *grin turns wry* They’re not. There’s a small settlement outside of the jurisdictions of any of the towns or villages in this region. They’ve been very accepting of me and given me a home.

((Also LOL apparently you were right. About the "wedding" between Charles and the Master Detective. XD I stumbled on the TV Tropes page for MCF. OMG I knew yet had NO IDEA just how detailed and interconnected all the games are! A LOT of thought and work has gone into them all. Anyway...under the trope "Accidental Marriage" is this - "Solving one of the puzzle sets in Escape From Ravenhearst is interpreted by Charles as accepting his proposal of marriage. The Master Detective's reaction is "Oh, GOD no!"" XD;;;))
