Stars: *hesitates, only because he doesn't /want/ to kneel, but...will go to a knee before his Mistress.* ...Mistress, in order to fly as you've commanded I will need to have the restrictions to my thrusters and alt turned off.

Crim: *nods and will do so*

Stars: *STIFF....and finally relaxes, wings flicking as he pushes back to his feet* Thank you, Mistress.  *he hesitates a moment, his wingmates will know she just pinged him...and then he'll turn and SHOOT into the sky*

*TC and Warp follow /instantly/, Warp with a triumphant WHOOP! as he flips into alt, the three Seekers /screaming/ off into the heavens!*

Stars: *HIS SPARK SOARS!! Primus, it feels so wonderful to be /in the sky/ with him /trine/!!*

*His JOY and TRIUMPH are taken in and echoed back to him three fold and more, TC and Warp streaking along just off his wingtips where they belong. Warp and even TC will poke at him to play with them, if he doesn't first - dipping, looping, climbing, breaking off, zipping back together and past and swinging around to rejoin again*

Stars: *it won't take long for him to /play/!  And oh the show they'll put on just having fun together!!*

*Someone who didn't know better might swear that what they're seeing must have been carefully choreographed, that the perfect precision and dangerous stunts couldn't just be on-the-fly maneuvers . . . but such is the power and skill of a Seeker, especially a full trine of high-caliber Seekers, sparks /soaring/ with the glory of the flight! And TC and Warp know that they can fly any time, so this is also a matter of giving their trine leader the best possible memories to hold fast to until he's allowed to fly again.*

*They...will be running on fumes and will have to land...Crim never pings Stars so they’ll land when their bodies just won’t let them stay in the sky.*

Crim: *little grin* You were beautiful to watch.

Sun: *BEAMING* Oh!  You were, you really were!

*Zero, Sky, and Laser are all smiling and nodding*

TC: *from the way Sun's acting, he still thinks something's up, but…not here…and he realizes that whatever it is, Sun probably /can't/ tell him or Warp because then Stars would know . . . but Zero apparently knows . . . they'll just have to trust Zero to handle this for now*
Warp: ………….. *nods at Zero, suspecting the same but trusting both Sun and Zero without question…just hopes it's not that Crim's caught them in something…*

Sun: *omg he relaxes so much when Zero steps in, he turns to the Seekera.* I-I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I know how much y-you hate the arenas. I didn't want you to be m-mad about this.

TC: ………….. *starts to say something - Stars will know he just doesn't want either of his brothers hurt - but knows his place and just bows his head*
Warp: Just . . . don't, yanno, kill each other or anythin', okay? *not that he thinks they would, but…has to say it - at least, he trusts that Zero won't be cruel or do more than he has to, and Stars knows how they feel about Zero to hopefully not do the same*

Zero: *rests a hand on Warp's shoulder* You know I'd never do such a thing.
Stars: *snorts* Of course we won't. *looks at Crim, she didn't sign them up for a death match or something, right?*
Crim: *nod* Just a friendly match. Come on Starscream, it's time to get ready. *will lead him off.*
Sun: *w-will lead them to the other locker room.*
Crim: *once they're alone and /right/ as Stars is called out to fight* I will give you a great reward if you win this.
Stars: Oh? And what would that be, Mistress?
Crim: Your wingmates...for as long as Sundance decides to keep you.
Stars: *does she mean...?* You'll....sell me to him?
Crim: Yes. But only if you win.
Stars: *wants to ask if Sun knows this, but doesn't have time...he /does/ relay to his wingmates though...maybe that's why Zero wants his best...?*

*The two are /shocked/ but…well, no "but" really, just "wow" - they've already bid Zero a good fight since he's being called out too . . . they're torn as they head to the viewing box after Sun, who do they root for?*
TC: *quietly to Sun* Do you know that Mistress Crimsonwing plans to sell Starscream to you if he wins?

Sun: What? *he looks at TC in shock. Oh no! Is she going to cheat him?! ...but no...he doesn't get that impression. He feels she just wants to see them give their all, no "letting" the other win. Does this mean she's going to give him Stars nobmatter what?*

((Nah, this works. He can play this now that Zero's given him a lie to work with. XD;; He's basically going to claim the fight was Zero's idea, he had no idea she planned to give him Stars if /Stars/ won...))

Warp: Wait . . . so's Zero gonna throw the fight, then?
TC: *at the same time, studying Sun* You /didn't/ know?

Sun: *shakes his head* Zero b-brought up wanting a match! Miss Crim thought it sounded like something she'd like to see!
*Zero and Stars are truly putting their all into this match! Stars will get any info his trine passes along, but Zero is concentrating too much to answer any pings.*

*His trine's confused and a little concerned, and Stars /might/ sense that through his own focus, but the two won't interrupt him needlessly.*

Zero: *is pretty sure he has this figured out, even without knowing what she told Stars...she wants a good fight before she releases her slave for so little, but just in case...he intends to win.*
*Their fight is a hard one, and they'll thouroughly beat each other up before Zero finally lands a blow that knocks Stars out. Zero wins, if barely.*

*His trinemates /wince/, though they're proud of their other brother, that /wasn't/ an easy feat. Still . . . they'll have to hope somehow for another chance to gain their wingmate.*

*Stars...and Zero are carried out and to the medbay. When everyone arrives Stars is awake and brooding. Zero is calm. Sun...is trembling softly, so confused and wondering if he's been played.*
Sun: Zero...
Zero: *smiles at him* I'll be all right.
Sun: *nodnod*
Crim: *strokes a hand over Stars' helm.* You did well.
Stars: ....I lost.
Crim: *little smile.* Yes. And so I'll keep me promise. *looks at Sun.*
Sun: *soft trill.* ...Why? You said you'd tell me if Starscream lost...
Crim: Because I understand sparkbonds and how hard it is to be apart from them.

TC: *knows he shouldn't speak out of turn, but /has/ to ask* Master, Mistress Crimsonwing, what's going on?

Sun: *little trill* I-I...I'm sorry. I lied to you before...a little. While you were flying, Miss Crim proposed to sell Stars to me if he lost a fight against Zero. If hebwon nothing would change and she would keep him for now. She said I couldn't tell you because she didn't want Stars to know and intentionally throw the fight. No matter how good he might have been able to make it look, I couldn't risk it.
Stars: *sits up a bit to /frown/ at his Mistress*
Zero: You just wanted to see us give pur honest best, hm?
Crim: *nods*
Stars: You told me if I won you would reward me by allowing Master Sundance to purchase me. *so who did she actually lie to.*
Crim: *nods* And had you won, that is what I would have done. Since yog lost, Sundance can buy you with the winnings he just got.
Stars: ....seriously?
