*They will travel hard again the next day, and it'll really take a toll on the younger three, Yugi especially as swimming is kind of a new thing for him. The General will let them sleep longer, and like the first night he'll sit up to watch and chat with Yami for a bit before he settles to rest. The General does kind of take Yugi under his care that second day, teaching him how to hunt. He insists it's necessary. They're a long way from shore and if they're separated Yugi needs to know how to feed himself until they can meet up again. Yugi will make his first catch that day...or Yami will if Yugi can't bring himself to. Their third day will bring them to what looks like another small town. While passing through they'll be set upon by curious youngsters wanting to ask these travelers all kinds of questions. Ralin and Azure will answer a bit without giving away too much, and the General will just ignore them.*

*Yugi is an eager learner…and he's getting over the squeamishness – after all, they have things in Japan that would nauseate other parts of the world too, so… he's doing decently, all things considered – as they approach the town, Yami disappears so he's not an inordinate attention-draw. Yugi will field a few questions but mostly leave it to Ralin and Azure.*

Mer: *approaches. He's a lionfish, and comes across as proud and confident.* Welcome travelers. I would be honored if you would join me for next meal.
General: *nods acceptance, glancing at the younglings to make sure they're respectful.* Thank you.

*The two murmur their thanks. They'll follow the mer to a nice place. All of these "cities" look so organic and are well hidden. It's no wonder scientists haven't found them. The mer shows them all to a room where they can settle.*
General: *settles, their host leaves them for a moment.* He's one of the Counsel here.

Yugi: *nervous, doesn't want to do anything wrong . . . wow, it's surprisingly easy to fall back into /very/ old habits of making himself "invisible", will just follow the others' clues what to do*

Geneal: *puts a hand on Yugi's shoulder and gives it a soft squeeze.* Relax.

Yugi: I don't know your people's customs. And I know some of my own are so deeply-ingrained that I don't even realize what I'm doing till I already did it. I don't want to offend anyone.

General: Diferent waters have diferent customs. You won't offend anyone.
