What Sam saw made her feel marginally better. There was the... well, moods could be complex, like looking at a weather system; concern remained a feature in Rick's emotional atmosphere, and it was most present when she or he made mention of another's well-being. The man cared, and seemed to be as determined as she was. She thought Darnell would like the guy; she'd decided she did.
