Zeran would have laughed at her tone at the second question. She sounded every bit like a baffled teen who was sure she had to have heard something wrong. Honestly, though, he was wondering the last himself, and so listened for the answer, even as he considered what he might make for everyone to eat if Jae had what he needed...
