HB: *nearly pokes himself in the nose with the cigar he'd been about to take a puff from, flinching to catch himself* Damn. *stubs it out, grabs his jacket, and heads out of his quarters to start making arrangements* Xan: *still weak yet but has enough strength in him for this . . . the Hunt house is right on the edge of town, so he'll climb all the way up to the roof and plant himself where he can see the access road out for at least a mile or two. Short of it raining, he'll stay there till he sees or senses Ayida's approach* *Darnell and Connor look at each other, confirming without a word that, yes, that did just happen. The TV's turned off and each gets up to get to work, Darnell packing while Connor makes airline arrangements. They'll let Thomas know what's going on once they're on the way to the airport.*
