Darnell: And he has his Racer back. *pats the horse's neck, nods with a wry grin* Figured I'd best come up ahead and explain so no one thought I'd returned with some kind of raiding party of my own.

Scraps: Pfft, no one would think that of you. Wait here for them to catch up, though, I'll let Skif and Mistress know.

Darnell: *nods and shifts Racer around to see Zerik and the others as they approach*

Vashti: *steps out and up beside Darnell, she rests a hand on Racer's shoulder* That is a lovely bird on your shoulder...

Darnell: *grins, will offer Alem his hand to bring him closer to her* Thank you. His name is Alem. Alem, this is Lady Vashti Alvierda. It's okay - she knows.

Alem: *bobs his head* Hello, ma'am. 

Vashti: *gives the owl a little smile, then turns to Zerik as he dismounts and gives her a bow.* Thank you for coming.

Darnell: Lady Vashti Alvierda, this is Zerik Ius, Captain of the King's Guard. And a very good friend of mine.

Zerik: It’s my pleasure to be of assistance, my lady.

Vashti: Thank you. I would have you see the assassin that came for me, Captain, and then I offer you and your men the hospitality of my house.

Zerik: *nods* Thank you, my lady.

Skif: *comes out, a little nervous, but also happy to see his horse back. He’ll love on Racer, looking at all the men in wide-eyed wonder. Wow*
