TC: *to Silver* It did that before, optics changing color. First time I spoke to it, they went green for a moment. That's when it changed shape. *considers another instant* I'm going to try to approach it. *hesitates a second for reaction from the creature to his saying that...that should tell him if the thing actually understands him or is reacting on a more basic level*
