*It’s been a couple weeks since Ziomi and Connor were found by Terris. She’s recovering well and is able to get up and move around on her own. She’s sore, but she’s regained a fair amount of her stamina and is confident about traveling again when Terris says they’re good to go. Today Terris and Connor spend the day packing up whatever they’re going to bring and getting the panels set into the opening of the den. Terris plans to come back here with some of Kalan’s folks to gather the rest of his stuff , but until then the winter panels will keep out any scavengers. They spend one more night in the den and the next morning they set off. They’ll take things slowly. They’re a day out from the nearest town, but they’re not going to worry about actually making it if Ziomi isn’t up for pushing herself that far. She’s good with just setting her own pace and letting Terris and Connor go at they please, knowing Connor will stay close to her in case she needs help.*
