*By the next evening, everyone is ready. Raida goes too, but mostly so she can make sure Talim gets back out and they both get back to the church. Talim is scared, but he’s also determined to help. He thinks they’re all crazy for doing this, but he’s also thankful to them for doing so. He’ll stay tucked close to Raida as they head out to the DuPrae manon on the side of the massive gold mine.*
