Dec. 8th, 2014 10:16 pmMaru: *is…admittedly a little overwhelmed, but will grin and bow graciously, hiding his discomfort behind a façade of his usual cool . . . if nothing else, though?...it makes him /immensely/ happy to see that his brother is happy and accepted somewhere, even if he couldn't be back home*
Kage: *won't stop long with anyone, can tell his brother is uncomfortable. They'll reach a building and Zira will wish them well before running off to play. Kage will lead Maru inside. It's a small house, nice, and made with a robot in mind.* This is my home. And yours now, if you'd like to stay with me.
Maru: *it's just . . . SO VERY FAR outside of his experience, if nothing else . . . he's feeling a little small and vulnerable if nothing else, as well as out of place . . . looks around the place* A home? Like an actual house? This is /yours/? *brain just keeps breaking a little more with each new thing…*
Kage: *sheepish, he nods* This is my home.
Maru: *looking around – he's never even /considered/ having any place to call "his own" outside of his repair cradle and his desk in the Decker Room*
Kage: Would you...like to see our room...?
Maru: *starts to nod, but another thought hits him in the back of the head* Robots don't need homes… *not /wholly/ aware he said that aloud*
Kage: We're not robots here, Shadowmaru. We're spirits, just like everyone else. We take on the appearance we had in death...or...most associate with ourselves. *no, he did not arrive he looking like a submarine.* But we're spirits, we can look as we wish, be what we wish. /Everyone/ needs a home...
