*It’s a few hours later when Ziomi starts to stir again.*

Ziomi: O-oh, did I doze off? *softly murmured as she shifts just a bit to turn her face up to Connor.*

Terris: *gives him a smile.* Want to learn to make the medicine?

Connor: Yes, please!

Terris: *smiles at his enthusiasm.* All right. Come here and I will show you. *and he does. He shows Connor the various plants, explaining what each is and what it does in the state it’s currently in, and then the proper amounts to mix and how ro compact it down into a small cube that can be swallowed with water.*

Connor: *attentive and able to repeat things back to Terris perfectly, will even ask questions about what they're doing, how it works, /why/ it works, and if Terris is willing, once they're done with that, he'll ask about other things there in the workspace. He's a SPONGE for information*

Terris: *certainly happy to teach Connor everything. He may not know exactly why something works the way it does, but if he does he’ll share. He’ll pull out his healer’s journal. The book is thick and well worn, and won’t properly close. The pages are full of small, neat handwriting, masterfully drawn pictures, and sometimes even a pressed leaf or flower glued to the page. The book details various plants, with everything categorized by what their primary use is (what symptoms they’re used to treat), with further details on what to do with each plant, various ways to prepare and administer it depending on the symptoms or illness that needs to be treated. Notes on where to find the plants, the climates they grow in, and best times of year to harvest, and any other notes he could think of. He’s more than happy to let Connor go through his book.*

Connor: I'll learn whatever you'd be willing to teach me. I'm not from this world, and I keep finding more and more that I do not understand or knkw how to do.

Connor: Only what Ziomi's been teaching me. *will detail what he's learned so far*

Terris: *nods* That's a good start. *and he'll start to walk Connor through another recipe, the main ingredient in this one is a root that... while Ziomi /could/ find it, it'd be difficult for her to do so while traveling. Terris will also show Connor what the plant looks like so he can watch for it while they travel.*

Connor: *eager to learn anything that could help Ziomi*

Terris: You learn quickly. I'm sure Ziomi will be very proud of the fact that you've made lunch for her. *and he has had Connor do most of it, if only to learn it.*

Connor: *there's that proud little grin* Should I go wake her?

Terris: Yes. She’ll be need more medicine shortly too.

Connor: Mn, yes. *doesn't want her to hurt - goes over to kneel by her, laying a hand on her shoulder* Ziomi. Ziomi, it's Connor.

Ziomi: *eyes flutter open, and she moans softly.* Connor... *she sounds a bit dazed, not yet awake.*

Connor: *softly rubs her shoulder with one hand as he reaches to catch up her other, just giving her multiple points of input/contact to help gently wake her up* Yes, it's me. I'm here. It's time for more medicine before you start hurting again.

Ziomi: Mn... I... yes, that would be good. *she’ll turn her face to him.* Thank you, for taking auch good care of me.

Connor: I'm here to serve, Ziomi. *said fondly, in the same tone as "I'm glad to do it"* I'll be back, let me go get your medicine.

Ziomi: *he’s so cute. She can’t help but think of him fondly... like a brother. She’s bot sure if she thinks of him more as the naive little brother who needs her to look after him, or the protective older brother always looking out for her, but regardless, she finds herself thinking of him as “brother”.*
Terris: *has retrieved the cube Connor made earlier with his direction and will hold it and a small cup out to Connor as the android approaches.*

Connor: *has no reference for relationship outside of "handler," "owner," or "partner," but he's equally fond of her, even if he's not quite able to recognize it as such yet - grins and accepts the items* Thank you, Terris. *returning to Ziomi, he'll kneel again and help her sit up enough to be able to drink*

Ziomi: *soft whimper of pain, but lets him move her and easily takes the medicine.* Thank you.

Connor: I know. I"m sorry. *as gentle as he can be, then gets her resettled* Terris and I have made lunch. Will you try to eat some? You need your strength to heal.

Terris: *speaks up.* Connor made lunch, I merely instructed from the side so teach him a new recipe.
Ziomi: *smiles. It’s bright, if touched with pain.* Then I certainly wish to try some.
