Zero: *will lead them down the hall and back to the door... now Darnell will get to see what it looks like from the outside.... a giant hole in the world.*

*Darnell is /gaping/. Honestly...so is Connor some, even though he's seen it once before.*

Amon: *gaping too still, to be honest...* How do you make it do that? My scanners can pick up the interior of your ship, but nothing on the outside.

Zero: It's a cloaking shield. It's... rather complicated to explain actually... actually, I'm not sure how I'd explain it in this language at all...

Connor: It's really impressive.

Zero: *grins* Thank you. *he'll steps back and... then his body will start to shift around and /change shape/... and then a hover craft is sitting before them. A compartment will open. There aren't any proper seats, but they can all fit.* Hop in, I'll give you a ride closer to the nearest town.

Connor: *kind of dances back* Whoa! H-how...how did you /do/ that!?

Darnell: *just...GAPING*

Zero: *what?* Ah... it's a natural ability of my kind?

Connor: To....to just...rearrange your body like that?

Zero: Yes. It's quite natural for Cybertronians such as me, and the three inside. We just have different alternate modes.

Darnell: They're all flight-capable . . . some kind of jet, maybe? Oh and...you're really okay with us just...climbing inside of you?

Zero: That’s right. And... you’re not /really/ climbing /inside/ me...

Darnell: Yes. Unlike androids, vehicles really are just machines. Basically speaking, there's a shell with accommodations inside for humans to sit, wheels to allow it to move, and an engine to make the wheels turn. Evn those that have computers in them are merely input-output mechanisms - a sensor indicates a reading outside of normal parameters, relays that to the computer, and the computer lights the relevant warning icon on the dashboard. There's nothing even remotely close to thought, to awareness, to anything resembling sentience.

((Darnell is not an animist. XD;;;))
