*It’s a few hours later when Ziomi starts to stir again.*

Ziomi: O-oh, did I doze off? *softly murmured as she shifts just a bit to turn her face up to Connor.*

Connor: I am. I'll be better able to help him and you and others.

Ziomi: *smiles* You're so good to me, Connor.

Connor: I do my best. How are you feeling?

Ziomi: I...I'm okay. I hurt, but not as much. *And she's still weak... and sleepy from the drugs.*

Connor: That's good to hear. Lay back down for a while?

Ziomi: I... would, thank you. *Terris did say she would likely sleep a lot the first couple days*

Connor: All right. *will get her laid down and comfortable*

[socrowdedinhere]

Ziomi: *will grip his hand once she’s settled.* Thank you. Don’t feel you have to stay by me, okay?

Connor: *gives her hand a squeeze* Got it. Call if you need me, though. I shouldn't be far.

Ziomi: *nods* I will. *she’ll release his hand and let herself settle to sleep more.*
Terris: *smiles and waves Connor over.*

Connor: *stands and approaches* Yes, Terris?

[socrowdedinhere]

Terris: *crouched at the entrance of his den. There are a number of small birds there, pecking up seeds he’s scattered. He’ll gently draw Connor to crouch beside him, will put some seeds in Connor’s hand, and put the android’s hand out. It won’t take long for a couple of the bolder birds to land on Connor’s fingers and wrist to accept the snack.*
