Inami: It's good to meet all of you. *motions Mitham over* I'll see you again later, kiddo. You keep taking good care of your little sisters.

Mitham: *has relaxed a lot....meeting Jendayi has helped a LOT with that...he nods, glancing a small smile up at her.* I will.

Duke: Thank you again, Inami-san, for taking care of these children. *will lead the way back to Terris's*

Inami: My pleasure. Don't be strangers. Come visit some time.

Duke: If we can, yes, of course.

Inami: Take care, guys. *waving*

*They'll get back, Jendayi having PJ carry her, and Shaila happy to have Duke carry her...and...Mitham is starting to hurt again and is trying to hide how much he's starting to hurt again...and Kage is scouting ahead just to be sure they don’t run into trouble.*

Dmps: *notices* Are you all right, Mitham-san?

Mitham: Yeah. *automatic*
Jendayi: He's hurt. He needs more medicine. Papa will help when we get home.

Dmps: .........*studying the boy...nods* All right. Hey. *drops into a crouch in front of Mitham, faced away* Come on. I'll give you a ride.

Mitham: *flinches to a stop and studies Dumpson's back a moment before climbing on. He's...very grateful.* Thank you...

Dmps: Don't mention it. *Mitham will hear the grin in his tone - will stand, arms locked behind him under Mitham's bottom, and they'll continue on*

Mitham: *tucks his face against Dumpson's back.*
Terris: *welcomes them back and says everything is ready for everyone to settle to sleep.*

*Braves automatically assume that means the kids, not occuring to them at all that they're actually included*
Deckard: *salutes* We'll keep watch.
*The others salute as well, their silent agreement*

Kage: *softly, to the BP only* We reauire rest as well, and Terris-san has prepared space for all of us. I think only a couple of us should remain up on watch at any given time...

*The surprise and uncertainty is...clear on all their faces, Maru's included.*
DB: You mean...sleep in there with them? Like people?
Dmps: *shakes his head* That's not our place. *they're just robots*
Duke: Even so, we don't want to insult our host.
Deckard: .....Duke's right. We'll follow along for now, and we can figure out a more proper arrangement tomorrow.
PJ: *frowning* There aren't any repair cradles. What will keep us in place?
GM: It'd be pretty bad form for one of us to fall over on the kids in the middle of the night.
Maru: We'll just have to make sure we don't.

Kage: *can't help the mix sadness and amusement for their sakes.* So you lie down with them. I've found the bedding rather nice once used to it. *the little smile fades, all seriousness (not that he didn't mean his first words)* To them, that is our place. They don't know about robots. Terris sees us as people; to him we're alive, and no amount of explaining has convinced him otherwise.

*GM gets up and stalks off pretty much right away, getting on his motorcycle and riding out through the trees. After a moment, Deckard also stands and quietly excuses himself – he really just wants to be left alone. If anyone tries to follow him, the other Braves will tell them not to. Of those who stay, it's . . . challenging to get most of them to talk. DB does easily, and he's the most expressive of them, loudly angry and hurt and /grieving/. Duke will speak but he's dispassionate about it. McC will but only if directly asked. PJ and Dmps are sullenly silent more times than not, letting McC and DB do all the talking. And . . . where did Maru go? When did he even slip off?*
*Kage is also gone. If Maru will let him close he'll be with his brother, silently there it there to talk as Maru needs, if Maru won't let him close then he's just staying back and keeping and eye on him. Terris isn't forceful about making anyone talk, everyone grieves in their own way and time. He'll encourage the talking, but won't force it, though he will gently shush anyone that tries to quiet another from speaking. This is a safe place to voice their feelings, good or bad. They'll finally be interrupted by children. They slip over quietly, but eventually DB will find Kendra crawling into his lap to pet his face. She'll pause now and then to reach for Dumpson and McC in turn to pet their arms. Shaila sill grawl into Duke's lap and love on him. Jendayi wraps her arms around McC and gives his cheek a few kisses. And Mitham will sit by Dumpson, leaning against him.*
Mitham: ....It's really hard to lose someone you love. It hurt more than anything. It gets better though...with time. I don't know if it ever goes away, but it gets better.
