Eva saw the fear on Vivena's face and knew it well. For the first months of her living in Tombstone, Eva spoke to very few people and went out only when necessary. She understood deeply the fear of being found. She ushered Vivena over to another display, this one a taxidermy of a hoop snake, with tail firmly clutched in its mouth. Here they could speak, albeit quietly, without being overheard.

"Outed for being supernatural. These are entirely real, I assure you."

And Eva smiled widely to reveal fangs.
