Darnell: *has pulled his phone out again* Officer Kindle, have your men continue holding. She's reacting to the presence that moved the crate to the back gate. She's having Mr. Zero and I go back into the house without doing so herself. She's probably going to go check out what she's sensing. Let her. She won't leave the property very far. She won't leave her baby.
Kindle: You're sure about this?
Darnell: I am. She looks frightening, but she acts like I'd expect any smart dog or other Earth animal to behave. She's not a threat unless she herself feels threatened. Don't let anyone give themselves away to her and she'll satisfy herself that she's not in danger and will come back into the house.
Kindle: I don't like this, just for the record . . . but it's your call, Master Detective. I'll have my men hold. For now.
Darnell: Thank you, Officer. *will hang up and put the phone away, backing into the house with Zero*
