Bixby: Prrew? *slips up by him and takes his hand, peering up at him*

Quin: *small grin* I'm going to be leaving tomorrow for a few days. I'll be back, though.

Bixby: *sad frown* Prrm...

Quin: I know . . . it's for Lady Vashti. And maybe for everyone here. I'll be back.

Bixby: *tucks against him, purring softly with a little frown*

Quin: *crouches down, getting her into his arms and standing with her* It's all right, Bixby. I'll be fine. I'll have Miss Scraps here with me.

Bixby: *wraps around him, purring getting mildly louder.*

Quin: *hugs her* Thank you for caring about me. That means a lot to me.

Warrik: She's such a sweet child...

Quin: *nods* Come on. We should get dinner.

Warrik: *nods and leads the way.*

Scraps: *will follow them* She really likes you.

Quin: I think she's just worried. She, ah, found me in distress last night.

Scraps: Aww. Poor thing. Don't worry, Bix. He'll be fine. He gets to see his family tomorrow too.

Quin: *nods* I'm hoping so. Maybe one day, they'll be able to come here and you can meet them. I know at the least, the rest of my troupe, the Merrie Pranksters, would be honored to perform for the household.

Naijah: *at the quick pace he's gotten them used to they'll reach Quin in a few minutes. He'll just grin and let his students go to their brother.*

Tam: *as soon as the wagon’s in sight* Harlequin!
Quin: Tam!? Tam! *passes the reins to Scraps with a quick apology, he’ll be right back, then he’s jumping down to meet the two, /catching/ his brother as the other races up to him* Tam… */clings/ for just an instant before letting go enough to reach for Rihn and pull him in to* Rihn!
Tam: Quin! The hell are you /doing/ here, brother!?
Rihn: *CLINGS!*
Quin: *low laugh* Looking to talk to /you/, actually. And to let everyone know that I’m all right. But mostly I’m here on business. I’m going to need your help, Tam.
Tam: Yes, of course, anything! What is it?
Quin: I’ll explain when we get back to the den. *finally pulls back, still holding to his little brothers as he looks at Scraps* Scraps, these are my brothers, Tam and Rihn.
Tam: *nods* Welcome.
Rihn: *shy nod, /tucked/ to Quin’s side*

Scraps: *grinning, despite the momentary surprise of having something shoved at her. She's pulled the horses to a stop.* Pleased to meet you both.
Naijah: *something catches his eye and he'll casually wander away a bit, just keeping attention out so the family can focus on each other.*

Tam: Come on. You’re not far from our home. *looking between the two of them* Quin’s told you about our eclectic little family? Well…not really so little…
Quin: Join us in the wagon? *the two nod and start for the walls and Quin turns to look at…for…?* Naijah?

Naijah: Hm? *casually continuing away from the wagon...and with a sudden, bounding leap he'll dive over a bush, there's a /squeak/ that clearly isn't his, and he stands with arms full of a stunned kitty amin. He easily lets her go the next instant.*
Bixby: */Kicks/ back at Naijah, missing as he leta her go, and /dashes/ for Quin!!*
Scraps: /Bix/?!

Quin: B-bixby!? *crouches to catch her, standing with her in his arms* Bixby, what are you /doing/ here? Why aren’t you at home?
*Tam and Rihn are just watching, more than a little stunned.*

Bixby: *tucks into Quin, clinging and trembling, fur, espcially her tail, POOFED!!* Mrrm. *PURRPURRPURRPURR*
Scraps: *scrubs her hands over her face with a huff.* Bixby, do you have any idea how /worried/ everyone must be for you?!
Bixby: Mrremm. *PURRPURR*

Quin: *loves on her* It’s okay . . . it’s okay . . . Naijah thought you were an animal stalking us. He was just trying to protect us. You’re safe now, though, he won’t hurt you. He’s my friend, like a brother to me. *once he gets her calmed down, will pull her back to look at him* You shouldn’t have come, Bixby. Why did you follow us? *worryworryworry*

Bixby: *peeks at Naijah*
Naijah: Sorry, lovly, I just knew something or someone was sneakin' in. Just watchin' out fer my brothers.
Bixby: *looks at Tam and Rihn, then at Scraps, and is finally pushed back a bit to look at Quin. Her chin tucks and she mrrs and mews at him several times, almosy as though answering his question, before wrapping her arms around him in a hug.* *purrpurrpurr.*
Scraps: Well, nothing for it now. We'll just have to keep her safe until we head home.

Tam: *smirking in spite of the obvious concern for such a young child having followed them so far* Got yourself a new little sister already, dear brother? I think Jendayi may be jealous.
Quin: I’ll deal with that. *faint grin in spite of himself - /hugs/ Bixby, but then pushes her back again a bit, getting her to look at him* You can stay with us this time until we go back home, but Scraps and I will be making this trip about once a week. You have to promise me you’ll stay home from now on. Promise me that, Bixby?
