FO: It's not an easy job. It's not going to make you "feel good" when you go home, and you could end up injured while on duty. It /is/ a satisfying job, though. I respect and trust my team, and they respect and trust me. Other officers will do their duty and aid me, even knowing I'm someone's property, but you won't find the same level of trust and respect with them. They may challenge your authority, if you take this position, and you will have to do things that outside of here would get you beaten to ensure that they know they can't walk over you. They will have to learn that you will do your duty, and that they must do theirs. It won't be easy, you may find it frustrating or upsetting, but you will have all of us, including our Chief Inspector to back you up. You won't have to face things alone.
